At PV Schools, we believe that each student has the right, and the district has the responsibility, to provide special education services in the least restrictive environment for each student. Students are identified for special education eligibility through multidisciplinary team evaluation. All placements are based on recommendation of the multidisciplinary team, which includes teachers, parents and licensed professionals, with focus on the most appropriate fit for each student’s individual needs.
We believe in the “I” in the I.E.P. (Individualized Education Program).
SUN Kids Preschool — provides special education intervention services for children ages three and four, and for five-year-old children who are not yet eligible for kindergarten. Typically-developing preschoolers are also accepted as peer pals and pay a minimal tuition.
