Vocational Preschool
The District has two Child Development and Vocational Preschool programs located at Paradise Valley and North Canyon high schools. Students have responsibilities similar to a private preschool program, including planning/teaching lessons, observations, setup/cleanup, and parent contact. Students in the Vocational Preschool program become familiar with the Arizona State Day Care regulations. The preschool portion of the program runs during the spring semester of the school year. High school students attend class five days a week while the preschool children attend three mornings per week. The vocational preschools are open to toilet-trained children of ages three to five years old. The Paradise Valley High location also accepts toilet-trained two year olds. Enrollment in the program is on a firstcome, first-served basis. However, this is a learning environment for the vocational high school students and every effort will be made by the Director to obtain a group of children with a variety of ages. Both programs are tuition-based. For pricing and other information please call the individual programs: PVHS: 602-449-7000  /  NCHS: 602-449-2000. Visit: www.pvschools.net/comed/earlychildhood5.html
