MONET, MATISSE, PICASSO and other awesome artists are coming to Desert Trails through the Art Masterpiece Program.Art Masterpiece is an art enrichment program that develops the imagination, invents new connections among the five senses, develops creativity, and helps one to understand different cultures.This program reinforces the elements of art and basic art vocabulary. Children will see the art, discuss the art, feel the art, recreate the art, and in some instances hear the art. Art Masterpiece volunteers aid the children in learning how to appreciate the art, connect with it on some level, and tune in to the “message” the artist wants us to hear. It is a wonderful program that the children embrace wholeheartedly. The Desert Trails PTO is excited to bring this program to the students of Desert Trails Elementary.
