CTSO Highlights

Career and Technical Student Organizations

Congratulations to Cheryl Shea, Pinnacle High School, for being named DECA Advisor of the Year at this year's state conference. This is a huge accomplishment for Cheryl to be singled out among 200 of her colleagues around the state. March 5 she was honored for all of her hard work and dedication and for forming Pinnacle's DECA chapter into one of the fastest growing student organizations in the state. In addition, she was recognized for the numerous awards and medals her students have earned throughout the years, including two state officers representing over 7000 of Arizona's DECA members, and her overall work for the Pinnacle and Paradise Valley DECA community. In five short years, Cheryl has transformed Pinnacle's DECA into the landmark student organization it is, accomplishing with this award what takes many 20+ years to achieve.

Thank you, Cheryl, for all of your dedication and enthusiasm to both your students and to Pinnacle High School.
