EARLY CHILDHOOD/PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS

MISSION STATEMENT
Children have the right to:
a safe, secure, and consistent environment
teachers who value their ideas and feelings
an environment that offers a variety of choices, and is fair, equal, and respectful.

To take on the world, your child will need a solid foundation of learning. So for their first experience, why would you choose anything other than a school that has proven its capacity for quality learning?

Community Education offers three strands of early childhood programs which are Lil’ Pioneers Child Development Center, Mini-Scholars preschool classes, and Little Scholars Pre-Kindergarten classes.  Copies of proof of residence (i.e.,utility bill, rental agreement, etc.), the child’s birth certificate, and immunization records are required to register.  DES Child Care subsidy is accepted.

  • Lil' Pioneers Child Development Center for children ages birth through three. The center is on the campus of Pinnacle High School, 3535 East Mayo Boulevard.
  • Mini Scholars - a Core Knowledge® Pre-School program for children who are three before September 1 of the calendar year and toilet trained. There is a half-day class at Elementary #32, 3725 East Lone Cactus Drive, and a full-day class at Pinnacle Peak Elementary, 7690 East Williams Drive.
  • Little Scholars - a Core Knowledge® Pre-School program for children who are four before September 1 of the calendar year and toilet trained. Classes are offered at several locations around Paradise Valley Unified School District.

These programs prepare your child for the school experience. At these fun and enriching hands-on programs, children attend school five days a week. Best of all, tuition for these incredibly successful programs is extremely competitive. Before- and after-school care is available for an additional fee at most of our locations.
