TITLE II TECHNICIAN

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school Diploma or GED
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  3. Experience with spreadsheets
  4. Knowledge of federal rules, regulations, federal & state laws (such as NCLB)
  5. Familiar with IFAS or Automated Financial Management System
  6. Effective communication skills

 

GRADE:  17

 

REPORTS TO:  Professional Development Director

 

SUPERVISES:  N/A

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Establish & maintain a positive, working relationship with employees & representatives of outside agencies & state agency

2.     Provide technical & resource assistance to all sites related to professional development & Title IIA

3.     Maintain current knowledge of federal & state program guidelines

4.     Maintain communication with the ADE academic support division for guidance on federally mandated reports

5.     Gather & compute data with regard to professional development to compile into federal, state & district reports

6.     Structure & manage Title IIA budgets for all sites in the district & educational support

7.     General secretarial duties

8.     Other job-related duties as assigned

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
