TITLE 1 TECHNICIAN

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  3. Adept in mathematical/budgetary computation.
  4. Knowledge of federal rules, regulations, federal and state laws (such as NCLB).
  5. Effective communication skills.

REPORTS TO: Title I Coordinator

SUPERVISES:

JOB GOAL:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establish and maintain a positive, working relationship with employees and  representatives of outside agencies and state agency.
  2. Provide technical and resource assistance to teachers/aides at Title 1 schools.
  3. Maintain current knowledge of federal and state program guidelines.
  4. Maintain communication with the ADE academic support division for guidance on federally mandated reports.
  5. Gather and compute data from district and private agencies to compile into federal, state, and district reports.
  6. Structure and manage Title 1 budgets for the district, Title 1 schools and other agencies.
  7. General secretarial duties..
  8. Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
