TITLE
1 TECHNICIAN
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
School Diploma or GED.
- Experience
with Microsoft Office Products.
- Adept
in mathematical/budgetary computation.
- Knowledge
of federal rules, regulations, federal and state laws (such as NCLB).
- Effective
communication skills.

REPORTS TO: Title I Coordinator
SUPERVISES:
JOB GOAL:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish
and maintain a positive, working relationship with employees and representatives of outside agencies and
state agency.
- Provide
technical and resource assistance to teachers/aides at Title 1 schools.
- Maintain
current knowledge of federal and state program guidelines.
- Maintain
communication with the ADE academic support division for guidance on
federally mandated reports.
- Gather
and compute data from district and private agencies to compile into
federal, state, and district reports.
- Structure
and manage Title 1 budgets for the district, Title 1 schools and other
agencies.
- General
secretarial duties..
- Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary and work year
to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in
accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support
Services Personnel.
