TESTING
TECHNICIAN IV (Previously Research, Evaluation And Testing Specialist)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
school diploma or GED
- Familiarity
with general testing procedures, especially those relating to district, state
and federal testing.
- NCS
Certification Training Course for ABACUS
- Experience
with ABACUS and SPSS software programs
- Experience
with AS 400, student information systems, and Microsoft Office Products
- Ability
to customize scanning programs to produce district testing reports
- Organizational
and planning skills
- Effective
communication skills
- Be familiar with NCLB, AZ Learns and AYP.

REPORTS TO: Director of
Instructional Technology and Assessment
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain a good rapport with
students, employees and community
- Program,
enter, and maintain student test data in Management Information Systems.
- Design
and produce charts and graphs of student test data.
- Custom
design and templates for individual department and school needs.
- Design,
scan, and issue reports for assessments.
- Track
student progress through vocational programs for state reporting.
- Work
closely with Instructional Technology to maintain student test data.
- Attend
state and district meetings on SAT-9 and AIMS testing.
- Conduct
district meetings for ASAP coordinators.
- Coordinate
with testing companies as needed.
- Establish
and maintain good rapport with staff, teachers and community.
- Responsible for overseeing all coordination and
deadlines of state testing with district, schools, teacher and vendors.
- Assist with data verification and appeals
paperwork for NCLB, AYP and AZ Learns.
- Complete
responsibilities of position with a minimum of supervision.
- Other
job related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month
year. Salary to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance
of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's
policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
