SPECIAL EDUCATION SOFTWARE SYSTEMS SUPPORT

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school Diploma or GED.
  2. Must have demonstrative experience in working with and supporting student information systems, specifically as they relate to Special Education and Individualized Education Plans.
  3. Familiarity with business processes, information systems and general technology procedures
  4. Proficient in IEP processes and familiarity with District and State student systems.
  5. Must have good written and oral communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently.
  7. Must have good organizational communication skills.

 

GRADE:  19

 

REPORTS TO:  Assistant Director of Special Education

 

SUPERVISES:  N/A

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Establish & maintain good rapport with staff and community.

2.     Assist in the support of student information systems as they relate to Special Education.

3.     Assist in the support of district on-line Special Education System.

4.     Create and maintain documentation for district systems.

5.     Will work on multiple computer platforms and must have a general understanding of network operations.

6.     Ability to work with multiple departments within PVUSD.

7.     Other job-related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
