ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Establish &
maintain good rapport through excellent customer service, with students,
employees, department staff, vendors, contractors & community.
2.
Deploy, digitize,
install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, repair & close technologies,
everywhere the district has an identified business need. Said support includes,
but is not limited to analog & digital technologies, hard-coded &
soft-coded operating systems & applications, analog & digital networks,
facilitated by but not limited to a prioritization & ticketing system.
3.
Integrate information
technology in all learning, teaching, office & schooling environments
throughout all locations where the district has an identified business need,
including but not limited to face-to-face, virtual & hybrid models.
4.
Coach, train others
& embrace continuing education including but not limited to site staff,
students & community on technology use at all locations where the district
has an identified business need.
5.
Support the coaching of
technology use, including but not limited to department staff, vendors &
contractors, PVUSD employees & community everywhere the district has an
identified business need.
6.
Support all technology
tasks, projects & initiatives everywhere the district has an identified
business need.
7.
Take the principle role
&/or serve on a team with other personnel everywhere the district has an
identified business need, including embracing technical & logistical
directions from/to a colleague.
8.
Be willing to learn
& support new & emerging technologies as required by the department,
including but not limited to collaborative productivity tools, immersive video,
social platforms, IPv6.
9.
Other job-related
duties as assigned.
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Nine,
ten or twelve-month year. Salary
and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
