IT STUDENT INFORMATION TECHNICIAN I

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED

        2.              Understand student information systems in a K12 enterprise

        3.              Understand a variety of software and operating systems

        4.              Ability to work well in a K-12 enterprise

        5.              Ability to train and coach on student information systems

        6.              Ability to work independently, as a team member, and/or organize and take a principle role in department projects, tasks and initiatives

        7.              Effective verbal, written and multimedia communication skills

        8.              Valid Arizona Drivers License and acceptable driving record

        9.              Ability to perform work in flexible shifts, including but not limited to; evenings, nights, weekends & holidays

GRADE:  14

 

REPORTS TO:  Director of IT or designee

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

        1.              Establish & maintain good rapport with students, employees, department staff, vendors, contractors & community.

        2.              Assist in the support of the registration process related to student information systems.

        3.              Coach & train others, including but not limited to; site staff, students, community, department staff, district administration office staff & administrators on the registration process related to student information systems throughout the district.

        4.              Deploy, install, configure, troubleshoot & maintain applications related to the registration process for student information systems.

        5.              Assist in the support of the registration process related to student information system tasks, projects & initiatives throughout the district, including but not limited to virtual registration processes.

        6.              Take the principle role &/or serve on a team with other personnel throughout the district, including embracing technical & logistical directions from/to a colleague.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
