ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Establish
& maintain good rapport with students, employees, department staff,
vendors, contractors & community.
2.
Support
district systems including, but not limited to: analog and digital, telecommunication, intercom, data,
multimedia, television and video surveillance systems.
3.
Deploy,
install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and close technologies,
throughout the district. Said
support includes, but is not limited to:
analog and digital technologies, hard-coded and soft-coded operating
systems and applications, and analog and digital networks, facilitated by but
not limited to: a prioritization
and ticketing system.
4.
Converge
analog multimedia, broadcast and television systems to IP-based systems.
5.
Converge
special systems/networks as assigned, including but not limited to: data, telecommunication, intercom,
video surveillance, facility access, energy management, etc.
6.
Assist
in the support of all technology tasks, projects and initiatives as assigned.
7.
Take
the principle role and/or serve on a team with other personnel throughout the
district, including embracing technical and logistical directions from/to a
colleague.
8.
Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Nine,
ten or twelve-month year. Salary
and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
