QUALIFICATIONS:
2. Understand and have substantial
experience with a variety of technology devices and information systems.
3. Understand and have substantial
experience with multimedia networks, including but not limited to digital or
analog and including but not limited to; personal area, local area, wide area
and Internet.
4. Understand and have substantial experience
with a variety of software and operating systems, including but not limited to;
hand helds, personal computers, network gear, servers, main frames.
5. Ability to work well in a K-12
enterprise.
6. Ability to troubleshoot as well as
coach on technology.
7. Ability to work independently, as a
team member, and/or organize and take a principle role in department projects,
tasks and initiatives.
8. Effective verbal, written and
multimedia communication skills.
9. Valid Arizona Drivers License and
acceptable driving record.
10. Ability to perform work in flexible
shifts, including but not limited to; evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
11. Ability to independently lift
equipment up to 50 pounds.
12. Ability to work in
non-air-conditioned environments.

REPORTS
TO: Director of Information Technology or designee.
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Establish
and maintain good rapport with students, employees, department staff, vendors,
contractors and community.
2.
Deploy,
install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and close technologies,
throughout the district. To include, but not limited to; analog and
digital technologies, hard-coded and soft-coded operating systems and
applications, and analog and digital networks, facilitated by but not limited
to; a prioritization and ticketing system.
3.
Integrate
information technology in all learning, teaching, office and schooling
environments throughout the district, including but not limited to; face to
face, virtual and hybrid models.
4.
Coach
and train others, including but not limited to; site staff, students and
community, on technology use throughout the district,
5.
Coach
and train others, including but not limited to; department staff, vendors and
contractors, PVUSD employees and community on technology use, throughout the
district.
6.
Implement
all technology tasks, projects and initiatives throughout the district, as
assigned.
7.
Implement
all information systems including but not limited to; student information
systems, data warehouses, telecommunication, main frame operations, department
budgeting and financing systems, state and federal reporting systems, video and
surveillance systems.
8.
Take
the principle role and/or serve on a team with other personnel throughout the
district, including embracing technical and logistical directions from/to a
colleague.
9. Other job-related duties as
assigned.
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Nine,
ten or twelve-month year. Salary
and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
