HUMAN RESOURCES REPORTING TECHNICIAN II

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school Diploma or GED
  2. Familiarity with general personnel procedures.
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Familiarity with web-based applications and database application design.
  6. Working knowledge of networks and computer systems.
  7. Troubleshooting skills.
  8. Strong customer-service skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Previous office experience in an educational environment.

REPORTS TO:  Human Resources Director

 

SUPERVISES:  N/A

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Establish and maintain good rapport with employees and community.

2.     Maintenance of all district personnel records and data.

3.     Collaborates with Director of Human Resources and Director of Professional Development for the purpose of maintaining compliance with NCLB HQ requirements.

4.     Works closely with District staff to develop and ensure all teachers are Òhighly qualified.Ó

5.     Maintains teacher qualification documentation in collaboration with sites for the purpose of compliance with federal and state Title IIA requirements.

6.     Monitors a range of personnel processes for the purpose of ensuring compliance with district, state and/or federal regulations for NCLB compliance.

7.     Maintain and submission of the School District Employee Report (SDER).

8.     Assists with the implementation, maintenance, and support of the Integrated Financial and Administrative Solution (IFAS) and ancillary financial and human resources software applications.

9.     Maintain reports and data files using the IFAS report writing tool (Click, Drag & Drill) and other outside products such as Microsoft Word and Excel. 

10.  Provides help-desk support for IFAS and ancillary financial and human resources software applications problems and issues. 

11.  Other mandatory state and federal reporting as required.

12.  Other job-related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
