HUMAN RESOURCES TECHNICIAN II - DISTRICT RECEPTIONIST

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school Diploma or GED
  2. Extraordinary customer service skills
  3. Excellent phone skills
  4. Ability to listen & solve a variety of issues varying in scope & complexity
  5. Skilled in managing competing demands

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Previous successful experience in Customer Service field

 

GRADE:  19

 

REPORTS TO:  Director of Human Resources

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

     1.          Creates a warm & inviting environment while welcoming community members, district employees & guests to the Paradise Valley School District

     2.          Provide excellent customer service answering incoming phone calls & directing to appropriate departments within the district

     3.          Ensure that all community members, district employees & guests feel well informed & appreciated when concluding their business

     4.          Handles calendar for reserving rooms at the District Administrative Center

     5.          Serves as additional support for the Human Resources functions/Tech II responsibilities

     6.          Sorts & distributes mail

     7.          Keeps reception area clean & inviting

     8.          Other job-related duties as assigned

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
