FACILITIES
& CONSTRUCTION PROPERTY-INVENTORY TECHNICIAN (formerly
Parts Attendant and Coordinator of Maintenance Property / Inventory)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five years' material control
experience, including demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Demonstrated ability as parts
manager with full stock control responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience in
the purchasing of supplies and materials for use in the facilities/construction
area.
- Knowledge of district
policies / procedures and state regulations as related to property
acquisition.
- Working knowledge of
automated inventory systems.
- Arizona Driver's License
- Effective communication
skills.
GRADE: 19
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Maintenance
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain good
rapport with employees and community.
- Maintain adequate
stock / accurate inventory for the district.
- Evaluate quality / cost of
supplies / equipment.
- Deliver and pick up parts from vendors throughout the valley.
- Order supplies and reconcile
quantities received / prices charged with purchase orders.
- Liaison with vendors to
maintain information on new supplies / materials.
- Maintain clean / orderly
stockroom layout. Modify layout as needed.
- Other job-related duties as
assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten, or twelve-month year. Salary
and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services
Personnel.
