QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  3. Previous experience working with school age children
  4. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally & in writing
  5. Ability to related to staff & children in a positive & effective manner

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Bilingual Spanish

 

GRADE:  10

 

REPORTS TO:  Principal

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

        1.               Establish & maintain good rapport with employees, community & students.

        2.               Review assessment data weekly or as it becomes available.

        3.               Create achievement plans with teacher for students as needed.

        4.               Coordinate Student Welcome Center to include uniforms, lunch & other aspects of orienting a new student.

        5.               Other job-related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
