CTE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     High School Diploma or GED

2.     Effective communication skills

3.     Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire (Training provided by district)

4.     Basic computer knowledge

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     Experience working with high school students

2.     Skill and interest in working in a school based enterprise

 

GRADE:  9

 

REPORTS TO: Site Administrator

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, employees and community.

2.     Supervise and accommodate needs and safety of students.

3.     Participate in a collaborative team model; attend team meetings, IEP meetings, in-services and other trainings as requested by teacher or administrative staff.

4.     Assist teacher in implementation of behavioral management strategies and instructional objectives, as needed.

5.     Assist individual students and/or groups of students using instructional objectives and lessons developed by the classroom teacher.

6.     Assist in set-up, inventory and maintenance of the tech labŐs equipment, technology and learning centers.

7.     Assist with the scheduling and coordination of production of designs and apparel products.

8.     Keep current inventory of supplies.

9.     Other job-related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Nine, ten, or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardŐs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
