AUDITORIUM MANAGER

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Experience & training in theater & event management
  3. Knowledge of computerized light & soundboard operation
  4. Knowledge of mechanical systems unique to auditoriums
  5. Knowledge of audio, video & lighting design in auditorium settings

 

GRADE:  17

 

REPORTS TO:  Fine Arts Coordinator

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

        1.               Establish & maintain good rapport and positive working relationship with students, staff & community members.

        2.               Collaborate with site addenda positions ~ Auditorium Equipment Liaison.

        3.               Coordinate production logistics with all user groups.

        4.               Maintain a documented work schedule that covers events at all auditoriums.

        5.               Ensure all equipment is operational, safe & ready for use.

        6.               Conduct routine inspections of mechanical & electrical systems.

        7.               Initiate minor repairs or routine maintenance within qualified skill set.

        8.               Initiate work orders for repairs or maintenance outside of qualified skill set.

        9.               Maintain facilities in a clean, safe & secure manner.

    10.               Supervise & train technical personnel & custodial crews.

    11.               Maintain current inventory

    12.               Schedule technical & custodial personnel.

    13.               Other job-related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
