QUALIFICATIONS:

REPORTS TO: Department
Administrator or Accounting Technician IV
ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Establish
& maintain a good rapport with students, employees & community.
2.
Day-to-day
operations of the Accounts Payable.
3.
Work
with departments/schools to resolve billing issues & obtain needed
information for making vendor payments.
4.
Interpret
chart of accounts to ensure accuracy of payments in compliance with the USFR.
5.
Record
& journal entries & cash receipts.
6.
Maintain
accounting records for Finance.
7.
Prepare
reports as needed.
8.
Exercise
judgment when dealing with confidential information.
9.
Perform
limited duties of immediate supervisor in supervisorÕs absence.
10.
Assist
as needed with property control inventories.
11.
Other
job-related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established
by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of
this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardÕs policy
on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
