CE 21st CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER GRANT MANAGER

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BachelorŐs Degree in Education, Recreation, Physical Education, Social Work or related field
  2. Three (3) years experience with school-age children
  3. Three (3) years experience training & supervising staff
  4. Ability to relate to students, parents, staff & administration in a positive manner
  5. Ability to communicate effectively in written & verbal communication

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Two (2) years experience of supervision of after-school programs
  2. Successful experience in completion of state or federal grant reports
  3. Arizona Teacher Certification

 

GRADE:  Exempt $46,000 - $55,000 / Interim subject to continued funding from 21st Century CLC Grant

 

REPORTS TO:  Director of Community Education

 

JOB GOAL:  Effectively supervise 21st Century Community Learning Centers & to monitor compliance with grant requirements to assure annual renewal of funding.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

     1.          Oversee implementation of the 21st Century CLC Grant designed to increase academic growth in an after-school setting.

     2.          Recommend staff for hire, train & monitor 21st Century Community Learning Center classes.

     3.          Collaborate with schools & departments to deliver services to students & families through 21st Century Community Learning Centers.

     4.          Oversee & advise 21st Century Community Learning Center site coordinators on management of allocated budget.

     5.          Oversee the procurement of materials from 21st Century CLC Grant funds according to district & state procurement regulations.

     6.          Assist & mentor 21st Century CLC site coordinators & assist in obtaining necessary data for state reports.

     7.          Collect & analyze student data from each 21st Century CLC site & identify needs of the program.

     8.          Oversee the payment of 21st Century CLC site managers & temporary staff, including completion of necessary paperwork.

     9.          Collaborate with Community Education to ensure compliance with district policies and procedures.

  10.          Develop, implement & evaluate procedures associated with 21st Century CLC Grant.

  11.          Other job-related duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine, ten or twelve-month year.  Salary and work year to be established by the Board.

 

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BoardŐs policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
