The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, budget control and auditing functions of the district. The district operates on a total budget in excess of $200,000,000 annually and services thirty eight schools as well as central office departments. The Payroll staff generates approximately 3,600 checks every two weeks comprising 87% of its Maintenance & Operations budget. In addition, the Property Control staff maintains an accurate listing of the district's fixed assets and is responsible for an annual physical inventory of all sites.
