Emergency planning
The Paradise Valley Unified School District conducts regular planning activities to ensure student safety and the coordinated and effective delivery of services in the event of an emergency.
The district plan is aligned to the National Incident Management System and meets the requirements for school emergency response specified by the Arizona Department of Education and Arizona Division of Emergency Management.
All of our schools have a School Crisis Team that reviews building crisis plans at the beginning of every school year. A minimum of two lockdown drills are conducted at each school in addition to monthly fire drills
The PV Schools emergency services coordinator is Jim Lee, director of Student Services.
