COMPASS 2015: Centered on Measures Positioning All Students for Success
COMPASS 2015 is the district's strategic plan for instructional and operations excellence with a primary focus on individual student success. The plan was developed as a collaboration of PV Schools administrators, educators and education support professionals.
Our goal is to cultivate world-class thinkers. District educators incorporate 21st century skills into daily lessons -- skills our students require to be successful in a future filled with unknowns. They include the four Cs: communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking, and they encompass the ability to use data appropriately, articulate a persuasive position, digital literacy, global mindedness, teamwork, empathy, conflict resolution and integrity.
